Great idea, because OpenOffice.org is really cool alternative for M$ Office. I've already tested some armenian fonts with it (Artsounk), but had troubles with porting other true type fonts from windoze. I think there is some problems with unicode and char tables.

But IMHO, the first main step should be creation of easy-to-use keyboard driver, like kxkb (actually front end for xkb). It should have keyboard layout helper and 2 way switching: Arm<->Eng & Rus<->Eng with Alt-Shift or Ctrl-Shift (like KDWin), that Kxkb does not provide.
