X11 alternative: new X compatible GUI server

The idea is to create an alternative for widely user GUI server (XFree86) for *nix systems. It must be fully compatible with all X11, GTK+ and QT applications (e.g. must be traditional socket-based X server) as well as have its own set of fast API functions, based on IPC messages (or be kernel built-in) and wrapper class library. Also it may have built in window manager and desktop environment, wich should be very lightweight (runtime memory usage < 16 Mb).
